A wonderful team of staff and fabulous atmosphere Lovely indoor/outdoor flow. Great coffee and yummy food. Very reasonable prices too. We held my mother's 88th birthday lunch here, over 20 people and they were so accommodating and made the day extra special. Where other venues had many rules and minimums, Charlie welcomed us with open arms, made it all so easy and relaxed. Exactly what you want for a lazy Sunday lunch. Highly recommend visiting here and it will become our staple local. Well done Charlie (&team) and welcome to the Howick community!

Thrilled to finally see Charlie’s new café after his big move! I went with my mum and my fiancée and we all absolutely loved it. I had the beef phở and it was spot-on: clean, flavourful broth, tender slices of beef, and fresh herbs that made every spoonful sing. Portions are generous and the presentation shows real care. The space has a vibrant, welcoming buzz, lively without being loud and the team is friendly and attentive without hovering. Service was smooth, and the whole place just feels good to be in. I’ve known Charlie for many years, and his character shows in every detail here: kindness, consistency, and pride in doing things properly. If you’re after great food and an uplifting atmosphere, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back.

Best Pho I had so far in AKL! The chili sauce is amazing and the soup tastes great! The beef pho comes with beef slices, brisketsand beef balls ~ love love love! My kid also enjoys her pancakes a lot!

Very tasty food and excellent customer service. I ordered a takeaway, and when I mentioned it was for a special occasion, they served the food on plates instead of takeaway boxes. I absolutely loved it. Thank you so much

Wow this place is amazing. Clean, fresh. The food looked yummy and the scones cheese ones they are amazing. The coffee was also amazing. Prices extremely reasonable. I was only here for the morning but will be back next week and I can't wait to try your Pho and have more coffee and scones. The skateboards are very cool. Staff are customer focused and friendly.

The cafe has character and soul, the staff are helpful and seem to be enjoying themselves, and Charlie does a fantastic job as always! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone, they really over deliver in quality and vibes!

I have been wanting to try this beautiful restaurant for a while now and oh was it worth the wait... we will definitely be making this our new breakfast spot. Delicious food, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!
